Power protectors are used to protect systems from platform over voltage transient and surges that are inherent to platform power bus. It protects systems against power inverse voltage (polarity) connections. Can be realized as PCB mount device or an inline standalone unit.
The protectors may have either floated or non-floated input to output connections. The power input return (RTN) may also be floated or grounded to CGND.
The protector rated power reaches up to 2100 Watt.
